Because of the ADA...

I have been able to learn about service dogs and how they help people in the community. I hope to help change the perception of disabilities by continuing to train service dogs for mobility assistance!

Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals were able to be mainstreamed into public schools. This exposed me to the beauty of American Sign Language and the rich culture of the Deaf community. This influenced my career choice and I am proud to continue breaking communication barriers as a professional Sign Language Interpreter for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
