Public Policy Issues

On Saturday, January 21, 2017, an estimated 45,000 people with disabilities and their allies participated in the Women's March on Washington. This represents the largest gathering of people with disabilities in history! On top of that, thousands more participated in sister marches across the country and throughout the world. This was in part due to the work of the Women's March on Washington - Disability Caucus

Congratulations, President-elect Trump.

Thanksgiving is less than two weeks away. It is a time when families come together. It is a time for rest, reflection and renewal.

Advocates are keeping tight-lipped in the wake of Donald Trump’s surprise victory with little known about how the president-elect may shape policies vital to people with disabilities.
