Sixby15 is working with Senator Harkin and six national disability organizations to achieve six national goals by 2015. The goals address employment, community living, education, transition from high school, public health, and early childhood.
Society for Disability Studies
The Society for Disability Studies (SDS) is partnering with The ADA Legacy Project to develop tracks on the ADA and its legacy for future SDS conferences. SDS has representatives on our Education Work Group and participates in discussions of how to promote the use of disability history and awareness curricula and other programs.
